Fawn Mckay
Fawn Brodie McKay born on the 15th of September 1915 was a native of Ogden Utah. Fawn, a member of the Mormon Church's oldest family, merged her writing expertise and impressive research skills into a brilliant biography on Joseph Smith. No Man knew My History appeared in 1945. The title comes from the funeral sermon of Joseph Smith, creator of the Church of Latter-Day Saints. His audience was shocked by his telling his audience: "You don't even know my name. It's been a long time since you've seen my heart." No one knows my story. Truth is I'm not even sure. Fawn (29 years old) wrote that since her moment of candor Three hundred writers have responded to the occasion. Some have tried to make a clinical diagnosis. Documents are not lacking however they do have a lot of contradictions. Assembling these documents - by sifting through third-party and first-hand sources, and integrating Mormons' tales of the past to non-Mormons' into an authentic history - is challenging. is exciting and enlightening.
