Sheryl Underwood, an American comedian, host of a TV show and actress famous for hosting the popular daytime talk show The Talk. She was born and lived in Little Rock. Sheryl lives in a family that is turbulent. She spent the majority of her childhood looking after Frankie. Frankie suffered from polio. When she was a kid, her relations with her mother were not always smooth. Sheryl states that in an incident, she was stabbed by her father for getting too close to her. Sheryl joined up the military soon after she graduated her college. However, her love for comedy was always there. She was the first female winner of the Miller Lite Comedy Search in 1989. She launched her TV job in the year 1992, being a regular actor on HBO's comedy program Def Comedy Jam. In 2000, she was host of the television program Oh Drama! Since 2011, she has been being a co-host for the talk show The Talk. In addition, she has been a fictional character in programs like Bulworth Nicki and Beauty Shop.
