Sheryl underwood is an American actress comedy and host on television popular for her performance as The Talk's daytime co-host. Sheryl Underwood was born in Arkansas and was raised in Little Rock, Atwater and Atwater. Sheryl is part of a clan which has experienced a variety of problems. Sheryl spent most of her life caring for her sister Frankie with polio. As a teenager, she had many problems with her mother. Sheryl claimed that at one time, her mother stabbed her son's father due to her proximity to the father. Sheryl joined the military after her graduation from college. Her interest in comedy became greater. She was the only female that made it to the competition in 1989 Miller Lite Comedy Search. She started her TV career in 1992, when she was a regular guest for the HBO comedy program Def Comedy Jam. She hosted the show in 2000. her own show Oh Drama! Since 2011 she has been being a co-host for The Talk, a talk show. The Talk. Furthermore, she's played fictional roles in series such as Bulworth Nikki, and Beauty Shop.
