Dolly Parton was born on January 19, 1946, in Locust Ridge Tenn. She lived with twelve other kids. The vivid imagination of her mother helped her escape from life's harsh reality. life. The show was cancelled by Wagoner, however, in 1974 because her albums on her own like Joshua Coat Of Many Colors and Jolene outsold their collaborations.
