Meagan Good's mother Tyra was in her teens working at Panorama City as a manager and father Leondis Leon Good, a policeman with the LAPD. She grew up with her three brothers within Canyon Country in California and started her acting career when she was just four years old. She began her acting career as an extra in television shows like Doogie Howser Amen, M.D. and Doogie Howser Amen. at the age of 13, she was cast as Friday in 1995. This movie earned her the nomination of Best Actress by the Black Movie Awards for 2005. After this she featured in several films such as You've been Served the Cookout The Venom: One Mistake Call Waist Deep, and The Love Guru. In 2012, while doing work in T.V. and in films in which she starred as Mya and her character Ms. Stevens respectively in Think Like a Man with a large cast and Dysfunctional Friends, which starred a smaller group. This reality series revolves around a troupe of actors who live in the same Hollywood California house.
